The arrival
The exam took place on the 14th of May 2021 in Chur organised by Swiss Exams. After the students’ arrival they were led into the exam hall where they took their seat. Before the reading part began the students had to make sure that their cell phones and other electronic devices were switched off.
Before lunch
After the reading part (45 minutes) the students had a short break in which they could relax and get mentally ready for the other parts of the exam.
Next came the writing part which also had a duration of 45 minutes and before heading out for lunch the students completed their listening part. After this intense morning the students had 1.5 h to have lunch and rest before the last part of their Preliminary exam: Speaking.
Speaking & Results
The speaking part only lasts 10 minutes and is completed in pairs. After completing this last part of the exam, the students were officially through! Following 2 weeks of waiting they received their results: students completed their Cambridge B1 Preliminary exam successfully. Swiss Exams congratulates them!
