In this practical workshop, we will look at a range of language needs in the two exams, with a focus both on the various “Use of English” tasks and the wider aspects of vocabulary and grammar across the papers. There will be ideas for classroom approaches and activities, as well as an overview of some useful resources and tools.
All our workshops include an afternoon break with food and drinks. We believe that the professional exchange and networking at these events is very important and, therefore, allow enough time for such interaction.

CESP (Cambridge Exam Support Programme) - Cambridge English Einführungsseminar SEK 1 (for Schools Exams) in Zürich
Das Cambridge Einführungsseminar wurde entwickelt um Lehrpersonen und Schulleiter an einem oder zwei Tagen so effizient wie möglich in die Cambridge Prüfungen und deren Vorbereitung in Kombination mit dem Lehrplan 21 einzuführen. Das Ziel dieses Einführungsseminars ist, dass die Schule und die Lehrkräfte das nötige Wissen erlangen, um ihre Lernenden innerhalb der Schulstruktur erfolgreich für die Cambridge Prüfung vorzubereiten.
Tag 1 des Seminars richtet sich an Schulleiter und Lehrpersonen, die an der Einführung und Entwicklung des Cambridge Vorbereitungskurses an der Schule beteiligt sind. Ziel ist es, ein gutes Verständnis der Thematik zu vermitteln und Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit zu geben ihre Anliegen und Fragen zu präsentieren.
Tag 2 – für Lehrpersonen: Das Ziel vom zweiten Tag ist Lehrpersonen eine Übersicht der folgenden Cambridge Prüfungen zu geben: «First for Schools», «Preliminary for Schools» und «Key for Schools». Dieses eintägige Seminar besteht aus vier Einheiten à 90 Minuten. Jede Einheit beschäftigt sich mit einem der vier Prüfungsteile: Lesen, Schreiben, Hören und Sprechen. Die Teilnehmenden erfahren über jeden Prüfungsteil die vergleichbaren Eigenschaften der «for Schools»-Prüfungen in Bezug auf Anforderungen, Aufgaben, Sprachniveau und Entwicklung der Fähigkeiten von A2 bis B2. Des Weiteren werden die Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit haben, einige Prüfungseigenschaften der einzelnen Aufgaben genauer zu erkunden.
