  • IELTS General Training test is the perfect exam for those who want to: emigrate for work, do a vocational course, do some language training or work experience.

  • IELTS Listening Test Format: 30 minutes + 2 minutes checking time, 40 questions, 4 parts (conversation between 2 people in an everyday context, a monologue, conversation in an educational context).

  • IELTS Reading Test Format: 60 minutes, 3 sections, 40 questions (academic: books, journals, magazines, newspapers; general: notices, advertisements, handbooks, magazines etc.)

  • IELTS Writing Test Format: 60 minutes, 2 tasks, essay to a point of view, argument or problem.

  • IELTS Speaking Test Format: 1-to-1, face-to-face interview, 3 parts (11-14 minutes)

  • No special computer skills are required but your students should be confident using a keyboard.

  • Students should familiarise themselves with the test.
