Interview
How did the exam go overall?
Martina: The exam went smoothly overall. It’s a practical and efficient test for candidates, as it adapts to their knowledge level and provides results quickly, which I think is a great benefit. The system was easy to navigate.
What did you think of the new Cambridge Linguaskill test interface? Was it easy for candidates to use?
Martina: The interface is user-friendly, and candidates didn't need much guidance once they logged in. I feel that the candidates seemed very comfortable with the new Cambridge Linguaskill exam format.
Did anything about the test surprise you or stand out as unique?
Martina: One standout feature is its flexibility. Since the Linguaskill exam is adaptive, candidates aren’t stuck with questions that are too easy or too difficult, which likely reduces test anxiety. This is definitely a plus for business-related exams, where varied levels of language proficiency are common.
How fast can candidates expect their results?
Martina: The quick release of results is exceptional. Results from Friday were already available by the following Wednesday. Although there isn’t a physical certificate, the digital one includes all the necessary information, allowing candidates to receive it in a very short time.
What’s your overall impression of the Linguaskill Business exam's practicality for candidates?
Martina: I really like the exam; it's such a practical option for candidates. It's a very practical and simple exam, adjusting to their level of knowledge. They don’t need to "guess" their level or prepare for a specific one. They just attend and receive their level based on their responses. Additionally, they can choose only the modules they want to take. If they fail or are unhappy with one or more modules, they can choose which results to include on their certificate.
