Important update: Linguaskill writing module changes from 8 October 2025

As of 8 October 2025, the Cambridge Linguaskill Writing module has changed. Candidates now complete two writing tasks: an email and either an essay (Linguaskill General) or a report (Linguaskill Business). These updates make the test fairer, more relevant to everyday communication, and give candidates more opportunities to demonstrate their writing skills. Cambridge has released new sample tasks, advice sheets, and assessment criteria to support candidates and teachers with preparation.
